Overview
Down Home is a restaurant that is tucked in behind a dirt road and farm fields. Their plates are created to tell the stories of the land and of the people that tend to it; their local community is weaved into each detail of their process. Down Home welcomes people “home” and invites them experience the warmth as well as authenticity they have to offer. Down Home is creative, humoured, inspirational and warm. They draw from the thread of sustainability, by focusing on foraging, gardening and working with small scale businesses. Down Home believes in providing an experience that is beyond a plate, but is about storytelling within every breath.
